Showering Myself in Self-Love!

In honor of my birthday (yassss to still feeling young enough to enjoy birthdays!) I wanted to share some fun pictures from a recent photo session I did!

Essentially, I wanted to do something that promoted both my passion to inspire others to seek self-love, but to also push myself outside of my comfort zone. For some reason, I have always had difficulty in feeling comfortable in front of a camera, it brings out stress and remnants of many negative emotions for me. I seem to be okay if I’m the one in control of a camera, but once there’s another person involved, I immediately clam up! So, I decided to commit to facing this fear head on and become well acquainted with the camera! Check em’ out ya’ll!

Though I didn’t absolutely LOVE every picture sent to me, I was able to appreciate each photo, flaws included! I did find a few good ones that captured my spirit and made me smile in self-love. To me, that’s a major accomplishment and shows major growth. Overall, I’m grateful to have spent a day dedicated to me and only me, and the opportunity to relieve some fears. I encourage all of you to try to find your own version of a day spent loving yourself and promoting positivity within your life.

Now it’s time to have another day dedicated to ME!!!

I hope through the rest of this week you’re able to find peace and room to stop and enjoy your surroundings. There’s so much beauty in the world, you just have to take time to see it. And lastly, as always, be good and do good.

Thanks for reading loves!!
